Shop: Jennifer Price Studio & SoLo

My favorite discovery while poking around the Cedros Avenue Design District in Solana Beach, California last weekend was the Jennifer Price Studio.

Located inside SoLo, the 4,000 square-foot, ultra-cool collaborative of shops inside an industrial, loft-style building, the small studio was an exciting find.

A professional photographer and photo stylist, Jennifer has channeled her tremendous talent for design, style and display to create the kind of shopping experience that makes you feel you've uncovered a secret.

Her knack for tracking down cool, old stuff combined with a great eye and sense of display allows an eclectic mix of furniture, photography and art to work. Her pieces are authentic, original. This is the real deal. I know, I'm gushing...

Jennifer's finds lean toward the architectural and industrial and while some of her treasures are sold in their original state, others are repurposed, resurfaced or cleaned up to create an urban, contemporary feel.

Fun. Funky. Fabulous. Go.

Jennifer's studio is one of eight inside SoLo and all of them will capture your imagination and possibly a few dollars...

SoLo is San Diego's largest outlet for hand-picked architectural, design & lifestyle books.
Jennifer Luce, of LUCE et Studio Architects has won numerous awards for her design of SoLo, including the 2002 AIA Award for Best Commercial Space.
